From a simple adjustment to the hem of your favourite jeans to a complete re-cut of a treasured item of clothing, the work of our Alteration Department reflects the very same inspiration our Creative Director, Nicola Donati, follows when styling an outfit or selecting an accessory. Since the very beginning, we have raised alterations to a new level and when you want an impeccable fit and precise workmanship, we are the one you should entrust your garments to.
On your first meeting, our fitter will listen carefully to your requirements. After having assessed the current cut and quality of your garment, they will create a new balance of lines and volumes - in keeping with the latest fashion trends or the classic cut of bespoke tailoring - to befit your figure and the occasion. And it will all be in keeping with traditional tailoring.
Our technicians, each one strong in their area of expertise and dedication, are part of different teams and will apply their knowledge to your item to surpass your expectations. We successfully cover work from denim to chantilly lace and bridal wear, knitwear to swimwear and lingerie, linen to silk all leather and furrier work. We undertake repairs and re-weaving on garments that have become a favourite and we take particular pride to restore a treasured family heirloom or update your vintage pieces.
Season after season, we constantly keep a close eye on fashion trends and ensure that we remain faithful to the design of each item we are fitting. Gucci, Christian Dior, Rena Lange, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Versace, Etro, Canali, Vera Wong, Dolce & Gabbana, Ritva Westinius, Amanda Wakeley, Hermes, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Hugo Boss, Yves Saint Laurent and Brioni are just some of the many labels we regularly work with. Both in London and Abroad, we have become the preferred referral address for luxury retailers, 5 Star Hotels and leading clothing industry specialists, who refer clients whenever they need outstanding results.
All our work is guaranteed and our price policy is based on the time that our tailors work on each piece. An estimate is given at your first fitting and will start from £35 for basic hems on trousers, from £60 on 'linear' work and for bridal and tailored alterations from £120.
A deposit of 50% is paid at the time of quotation and the balance will be reconciled once the alteration is completed. We will endeavour to see you again within one week for simple alterations and two to four weeks for more demanding alterations. When pressed for time, we can offer a same day service for simpler alterations - or a home or office visit by one of our fitters. Please call us to arrange for an informal appointment today.

Our made to measure lines concentrate on creating every time a unique item you will love to wear and we look forward to taking you through the stages of this traditional yet still very exciting and enjoyable process. You will be wearing the piece after four to five weeks once the planning has been finalised, and we can help not only with selecting the fabric but also can suggest matching accessories.
