Our seamstresses and tailors operate in our workroom on site. Each member of the team is strong in a different area of expertise: from denim to Chantilly lace, knitwear to swimwear and lingerie, linen to all leathers and furrier work. They undertake restoration, repairs and re-weaving so with their dedication and experience, we are able to provide a limitless service.
Alterations and repairs on ready-to-wear, couture, vintage, bridalwear and bespoke items are our specialty. However garments from the high street stores and couture boutiques - or that special piece that has not been worn for a few seasons - can be upgraded with our expert intervention, to create a personalised look and perfect fit.
To ensure that we are aware of trends and remain faithful to the design of each item we are fitting, we keep a close eye on fashion season after season. Gucci, Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Prada, Versace, Etro, Canali, Vera Wong, Dolce & Gabbana, Ritva Westinius, Amanda Wakeley, Hermes, Stella McCartney, Chanel, Hugo Boss, Yves Saint Laurent and Brioni are just some of the many brands with which we are entrusted with.
Through the past twelve years, we have garnered a loyal following of private clients as well as becoming the preferred referral address for retailers, both here in London and abroad. We regularly undertake work for celebrities who wish to be discreet and we look after London based customers of prestigeous New York designers.
Our price policy is based on the time our tailors will work on each piece. An estimate is given at your first fitting and will start from £30. A deposit of 50% is required at the time of quotation. We will endeavour to complete the work for you within one week for simple alterations and two to four weeks for more demanding alterations. You will be wearing the piece four to five weeks after all the planning has commenced, and we can help not only with selecting the fabric but also can suggest matching accessories.
